Let's Talk about Rompers

The romper, also known as a playsuit, is a one-piece garment that combines a top and shorts or pants... The best rompers have POCKETS, but that's just our opinion!

The history of the romper can be traced back to the early 20th century when it was primarily worn by children as a practical and comfortable alternative to traditional one-piece or two-piece clothing...

In the 1920s, women began wearing rompers as beachwear and activewear.

During the 1940s, the romper finally gained popularity as a casual, comfortable alternative to traditional women's clothing.

They were often made of lightweight, breathable fabrics such as cotton or linen and featured a shorts-and-top combination that allowed for ease of movement.

The romper was especially popular during wartime, as it was practical for women who were working in the factories and it was easy to move in and it was easy to care for. They were also popular with women who were involved in sports or other physical activities.

In the 1960s, the romper made a comeback as a fashion trend, and in the 1970s and 1980s, it became a popular item in women's wardrobes, especially during the summertime.

In recent years, the romper has continued to evolve and has been reinterpreted in a variety of styles and fabrics and are now worn by women of all ages and are considered a versatile, stylish, and comfortable option for both casual and dressy occasions.
