An entomologist’s dream and an homage to E. A. Séguy and Toulouse-Lautrec, our cold rayon Insectarium collection marries the dark romance of the Belle Époque with the practicality and clean, modern lines of Art Deco. The Victorian Crop Jacket, Gent Vest, Pocket Skirt, and L’Agent Coat return in sumptuous stretch cotton velvet. 

Fabric: Cold Rayon

The fabric is called cold rayon to distinguish it from our other previous flat rayon. Just like our previous Tropical Cranes and French Feathers fabric, this rayon is colder to the touch with a silkier finish. It has no stretch (except with bias cutting and the elastic panels). We think this new weave is even closer to the fabrics of the 1940s we all love.
