Dottie Dress Insectarium

Our retro signature halter style, the Dottie Dress, features a knee-length or just below gathered skirt with pockets. The design features a lightly gathered bust that crosses over in the front with a high pointed under bust. The wide halter style straps tie at the back of the neck for added support. With elastic ruching at the sides, the bodice of the Dottie molds to your form. You'll love the classic simplicity of this flattering, modernized 1950s style in our silk cold rayon. 

Fabric: Cold Rayon

The fabric is called cold rayon to distinguish it from our other previous flat rayon. Just like our previous Tropical Cranes and French Feathers fabric, this rayon is colder to the touch with a silkier finish. It has no stretch (except with bias cutting and the elastic panels). We think this new weave is even closer to the fabrics of the 1940s we all love.
